A ten-minute evening routine with your LED mask

How to fit an LED session into your evenings, step by step, and how to keep it going long enough to judge it fairly.

Before your first session

  • Charge the controller fully the first time.
  • Read the user manual that comes in the box.
  • If you are pregnant, have a skin condition, or take medication that makes you sensitive to light, check with your doctor first.

The routine

  1. Cleanse. Wash your face and pat it dry, so there is nothing between the light and your skin.
  2. Clip on the controller. It holds to the side of the mask with a magnet.
  3. Choose a light and a time. Red is the one most people pick in the evening. Ten minutes is a good place to start.
  4. Sit back and close your eyes. Put on a podcast or just breathe. The mask switches itself off when the time is up.3
  5. Finish with skincare. Apply your usual serum or moisturiser.
  6. Wipe it down. A soft damp cloth on the inside, then let it dry.

Make it stick

The research behind red light comes from regular sessions over many weeks.1 The easiest way to keep going is to tie the mask to something you already do every night, like the end of your skincare or your first ten minutes on the couch. Keep it somewhere you will see it.

Most people judge too early. Dermatologists talk about weeks and months of regular use, and results vary from person to person.2

Your first thirty nights

Every Sorisse order comes with 30 nights to try it at home. Use it most evenings. If it has not become part of your evenings by night 30, email hello@sorisse.com and we will refund you in full. On a change of mind the return postage is yours; if anything is faulty, it is ours.
